Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri’s Valentine’s Day release O’Romeo has crossed ₹46.75 crore at the India box office and ₹15 crore internationally, taking its worldwide opening weekend total to an impressive ₹61.75 crore. Vishal Bhardwaj’s intense romantic revenge drama has delivered a solid start globally, emerging as the third highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2026 in its opening weekend.

The film also outperformed Shahid Kapoor’s last two releases in terms of opening weekend collections. Deva (2025) opened at ₹19.15 crore, while Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (2024) had collected ₹27.1 crore. In comparison, O’Romeo has registered a significantly stronger collection, underlining Shahid’s continued box office draw in high-octane roles.

For Triptii Dimri, the film marks another commercial milestone, already ranking among the higher grossers of her career and surpassing the lifetime performance of her recent release Dhadak 2.

Internationally, O’Romeo has grossed over an impressive ₹15 crore, equating to USD 1.6 million plus and counting, in just first three days. The film has already surpassed the international lifetime total of Son Of Sardaar 2 (₹9.75 crore) and is steadily closing in on Mardaani 3 (₹13.25 crore), signalling strong traction across key diaspora markets including the UK, North America, and the Middle East.

O’Romeo also made it to the third spot in this year’s “Top 5 Highest-Grosser Bollywood Films (Worldwide),” after the top two Border 2 and Mardani 3, followed by Ikkis & Rahu Ketu.

O’Romeo’s overseas gross stands at $1.6 million and counting, reflecting strong momentum across key international markets with strategic distribution and marketing by Marudhar Entertainment and Funasia Films.

Sajid Nadiadwala presents O’Romeo, a film by Vishal Bhardwaj, produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Global distribution by Marudhar Entertainment and Funasia Films.
