After recent successful screenings of acclaimed films like Little English and Too Much Democracy, ReelN Ltd’s monthly Keeping It Reel Film Club, funded by Film Hub South East is set to showcase Big Trouble In Little India (Cert 15) on Saturday 16th March 2024 at Letchworth Garden City for its March edition. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the film team.

Co-written by popular musical talent Bee2, in his impressive directorial debut, the British-Asian comedy is set in the heart of Southall, home to the largest Punjabi community outside the Indian subcontinent. He hilariously portrays the role of ‘Guru’ a smooth-talking conman who exploits the vulnerabilities of his clients by convincing them of his supernatural ability to communicate with the departed. The laugh riot assembles a splendid combination of local and Indian talents including Ameet Chana (Bend It Like Beckham), Ben Sura (EastEnders) and Nirmal Rishi (Nikka Zalidar).

Aman Dhillon, Founder of ReelN Ltd says: “I am delighted to programme, Big Trouble in Little India as part of our Keeping It Reel Film Club in North Hertfordshire. We are pleased to include a British South Asian title in our monthly film programme showcasing British South Asian talent and especially excited to host a Q&A with the film’s talent which we don’t see very often in Letchworth Garden City.”
